The clip above is one of the edited versions of this scene. After editing this in black and white we decided that we preferred the narrative to be embedded in black and white as the effects represent the emotions in a bold manner, rather than Esther's scenes. The above edit matches the background harmonies with a flashback effect, yet we felt that we'd rather match with the final few lyrics of the song; "You'll always be my once upon a time. No you'll never be mine. Fairytales...they don't exist..." This clip is a perfect match to these lyrics as it sums up the theme and emotion behind the song and gives it a story tale ending, even if it isn't a happy one.
This second edit of the scene is the final version that has been embedded in the end media product, which maintains the idea of matching the final few lyrics to the song.
